Reserved for Rachel - Sterling Silver Sea Glass Shadowbox 'Not All Who Wander Are Lost' Ring

A beautiful, rounded pebble of glass from the beaches of Seaham, Co Durham that has been tumbling in the waves for decades before being carefully collected during my visit to the Northumberland coast in my little campervan.

It has been set in fine silver (99.9%) and framed by a hand stamped ring reading 'NOT ALL WHO WANDER ARE LOST' flanked by two little arrows. The reverse of the setting has been hammered for a shimmery effect along with the ring band that has then been soldered into place.

Following the oxidation of the ring which blackens the silver, the ring has then been buffed back to a shine leaving the lettering dark and the inside of the shadowbox. It contrasts with the silver and the glass perfectly.

Sizing

• Made to fit a U.K ring size R.
• Ring band is 5mm x 1mm.
• The shadowbox is 20mm in diameter.
• The sea glass is approx 17mm x 12mm at its widest points.
